"Dragon Vision" doesn't work on certain special battles.

Dragon Vision is a rare quartz whose main draw is automatically analyzing defeated enemies. If the person wearing it delivers the killing blow, the foe is scouted.

But one one certain battle, in Act 1, Part 3 (probably very near the end of the act if I'm guessing), it did not do that (and yes, I had it equipped on Rean). There was a victory screen and everything. It was the duel versus Jusis.

I beat them, I got the victory screen but when, after the real boss battles to close out the Part and the other cutscenes (totallying about an hour since the last time I was able to save), checking the monster book gave the information as all "???".

I don't expect Dragon Vision to work on fights which end automatically in a cutscene once a certain amount of damage is dealt or recieved, but shouldn't it always work if there is a victory screen?

Not a huge deal, I'll just have to do that all again... but I would be lying if I said I wasn't at least a bit annoyed.

you cant get dragon vision before this point in the game??? are you sure it's not Dragon Vien you're using? or did I just miss Dragon Vision???

It's in a Red Chest on Ebel Highway 3, just before the Aqua Shrine.

oh, how'd I not even notice I had at all along, I guess equipping it so somebody i never used made me completetly forget about it... Welp, not the first bug i've heard about, i mean, I even clipped out of bounds in the game, so unless the port somehow messed it up some fights dont see it as a "defeat" perhaps?
