Zero no kiseki fishing question

Yes I know its weird to put it here but what can I say , I can't find my answer anywhere so might as well ask here. Obviously this question is for those who have experience with zero no kiseki.

I cought a fish named Noble Carb. A small cutscene happened. Who do I give/show this thing to? I am sure there is someone.

Also can anyone tell me how to get all the rods. I only have 4.

With the exception of Crossbell's Guardian (which advances you to the final fishing rank if you talk to the head of the Fishing Guild after catching it), there is no benefit in showing people your fish. It's just that rare fish like the Noble Carp are hard to find and give unique rewards, so the game congratulates you with a cutscene. They also give the best rewards for feeding them to the cat or selling them at the fish shop, though still nothing you can't get elsewhere.

You get the final rod for reaching the second best fishing rank (catch 23 different fish).

Thank you for the answer. I can now give the noble carp to cat without any worries. I do have a question though, do you have a list or a link to a guide that has all the fishing locations?

Not gonna lie, unless I am going through this wrong, gtting every fish in this game is a bit harder. Anyway gotta wait until later in the game , this is my new game plus run after all.

.........when Xseed gets this game on steam I am gonna have to do it all over again :D

Try using Google Translate on the Japanese link I gave you. It's hilariously bad, but you should be able to figure out which fish can be caught where.

OK I caught all 23 , the ♥♥♥ guide says ursula for the 24th and a viper fish , it says you cant seem to catch anything. I am at chapter 4.

Sooooo I gave the fish and now I am a saint fisher but what is my reward? I missed.

- you can now buy special gem from the fishing girl there (Ymir) can't remember it's name but it's evasion bonus is fantastic, equip it on Rean or Fie, whomever you usually deploy to avoid and counter hits against fast trashmobs

- you can buy another special gem from the fishing guy on Curageous (he's sitting in the ship's kitchen) but in my opinion that one is worthless, still, go talk to him as he'll give you Orochi (master quartz) as a reward

Well I just checked its an emple that gives me 50 dex....... I WISH it was agility :D
And for giving it to the cat you get Scent.......the phantom cat fish gives action 3 which is better honestly.
