Isra-Zamiel Boss Fight
How? This is currently my 278th try on this boss fight. I've tried multiple stratagies and builds like: Cancelers, Evasion Tanks, Buff stacking, Delayers but nothing works. Is there a way for to acually defeat this boss or should I just give up now? If anyone has any advice, please help.

Here's a strategy I used on Hard difficulty, party level about level 115, based on advice:

The preparation
Party of Rean, Jusis, Laura, Emma as the first four, whoever you want for the last two slots I guess. Needless to say, everyone should go in with 200 CP and 2 Overdrives saved up. You should also have a Zeram Capsule. I think you get that for beating Neithardt in one of the earlier mandatory quests? Don't worry about using the Zeram Capsule - an enemy about 35 levels higher than your party is exactly the sort of thing it's worth using on.

Give Laura the Muramako or Tauros MQ (if you've been levelling them up) or Vermillion MQ (if you haven't been levelling up Muramako or Tauros). I put Tauros onto Rean and Criminal onto Emma. Stuff Laura full of a couple +100 STR accessories and these quartz: Domination, Revolution, Carnage, Attack 3, stuff like that. Put SPD boosting stuff onto Rean and Jusis. Equip Emma with +ATS boosting quartz and give her Sol Eruption or Lost Eden

Link Rean and Laura and Jusis and Emma.

What you want is a turn order where Rean and Jusis should use Motivate and Noble Command to boost Laura's STR up to +50%.

The Battle
1. On Laura's first turn, Overdrive, then use her Radiant Lion S-Break. On Rean's Overdrive turn, have him give Laura the Zeram Capsule to restore her CP back up to 200, then Laura should use an S-Craft again on her second Overdrive turn.

2. On Emma's first turn, use your second Overdrive. Have her eat a +25% ATS food. Jusis was back up to 200 CP, so I had him use Asteon Knight, although another powerful Lost Art would do. On Emma's second Overdrive turn use, a Lost Art like Sol Eruption.

3. Rean and Emma should still be at 200 CP and +50% STR / ATS respectively. Have them both use their S-Breaks to cut in. If you had Jusis use a Lost Art on his Overdrive turn, he can use his S-Break there as well.

That should do it.

What difficulty?

General advice:
- Evasion tanking is pointless since most attacks are guarantee hits. More specifically any physical attack that targets an area will never miss.
- These moves however can be blocked using adamantine shield and other phys guard abilities.
- Boost character SPD either via buffs in battle or gear. You want over 100 SPD minimum without buffs to get enough turns in.
- Delay is useless since I believe it is immune. Even if it isn't, its high SPD makes delay situationally useful.
- Make sure you have impede handy for Lost Arts prevention.
- If you aren't using broken setups and are not opposed to them, then use things like Tauros + Domination, Murakumo Crit gear stacking, Moebius lvl 5 Zeram spam, etc.
- Otherwise the name of the game is to maintain a phys guard buff at all times along with whatever buffs you want and whittle down its HP.

All i can say is approach this battle like how you would approach a Sky boss battle:
-Try to optimize your build
-Positioning matters! Position your Characters well!
-Keep buffs up!
-Guard/Reflect Arts/Crafts help, keep em up. Jusis with CP regen can help alot here for example.
-Have Healers ready and protected. Always have enough EP for Seraphic Ring. Have also Athelas ready. Elliot & Emma have good Revive (S-)Crafts.
-use s-craft to clear minions if you have to!
-Altough i was able to win without using any items, you have Zerams, use them if you have to!

Kill it with outrageous damage multiplier in few shot

Master quartz:Tauros
(The translation of this gone wrong, it ADD 150% damage in level 5, not multiplier, so it's heavily underestimated here)

quartz: Domination (First attack or craft deals double damage)
Revolution (10% damage increase for every level higher enemy is over user, up to100%)

if you are under level 140, you can deal 450% damage with first craft (100% base + 350% with quartz above), with crit up to 675%, exploit it with S-craft you can deal outrageous damage output.

Pick one with strong physical S-craft equip quartz above, use str+50% item first, then launch S-craft, you can easily deal 300k+ damage with crit, use CP recovery item (there is one +77 CP), CP recovery craft, CP recovery accessory, with the support of Chrono Burst arts, spam more S-craft.

You can pick another one with Murakumo master quartz with Domination and Revolution, then you can have two outrageous killing machine, I killed it before it can move.

Now this wasn't on my first attempt, but on my winning attempt, I stacked speed and impede/delay quartz on Rean and Fie and partially on Jusis, and after taking only 1 hit (which might have been prevented if I wasn't setting up Rean with the spirit unification 200cp s-craft with domination quartz release), the boss never had another turn.

I was spamming Jusis' noble command every other turn and attacking the other turns.
Rean and Fie were using delay crafts or doing a regular attack if out of cp.
Emma was on serene blessing duty or magic damage.
Alisa swaps in with a character (usually, but not always, with Emma) for her blessing craft.

Everyone had at least 1 abyss shadow I think and they had a hit 2 quartz or evergreen or something else that would make sure accuracy is 100% besides Emma, since she was using magic.

While this was easy, I was doing low amounts of damage for a large part of this fight and it dragged on a bit.

Your best bet is to go into the fight with 2 overdrives and with all 4 characters at 200 CP. Ideally your level should be 160+ for an easier fight (not necessary though), and since you're fighting Isra, this automatically implies that you should have 2 Waterfall quartz available to you, which should double the damage of two characters (ideally Rean and Laura).

A good party to fight with is Rean, Alisa, Emma, Laura. Alisa being the obvious support character for physical immunity casting, healing, and being the CP battery. Emma being the second support character while also dealing magic damage and casting Lost Arts. You can instantly cast them via overdrive.

Murakumo on Rean for crit build, Aries on Emma for EP absorb, Force on Alisa, and Chevalier on Laura. Positioning is critical in this fight because you ideally want to separate out Laura from the rest of your group since she's the tank. Without the Ice Crown accessory, you can get up to 60% crit rate on Rean with the right equipment. As for Emma, stack cast time reduction gear and quartz. You can get her cast time down ridiculously low if you build right (Quick Caliber S, Diabolos, cast 1, cast 2). Then just stack speed wherever you can. Speed is essential because you'll want more turns in and less delay per action taken.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
