Spoils of War achievement

May i know what is the exact requirement for the chests achievement? I just finished clearing all the trial chests and the next step is making your sword. The wording seems to imply that i was supposed to get the achievement now (Between Prologue and Finale) if i followed the guide. I have been using the Detection Quartz the moment i had it.

After clearing the last trial chest nothing popped up. Did i celebrate too early or did i miss one?

It's hard to say what the reason might be. Perhaps you missed a chest somewhere or maybe you haven't found all of them yet. Or maybe there is some other reason. If it helps at all, I got the chest achievement after "Phoenix Ascendant" and "The Reel Deal" but before "Forward, Relentlessly" and "Lending Library" in a blind playthrough.

Unfortunately I can't remember the exact moment when I got the achievement or which chest gave it to me though.

Including Finale. It pops up with the chest just before the final boss.

Yeah this is everything up until the completion of the finale. The last chest you get is in the room just before the final boss fight and it is a regular brown chest.
