However, it's perfectly playable so far.

I've been playing Stand Out for 500+ hours with Index Controllers with no issue...
Works perfectly fine with a ProTube and magnetic cups.
For sure, it's not the prettiest game.
But it offers nice strategic gameplay with long range shoots (my longest kill was 397 meters, arf!....)
And it's the only game I know where you can blast a nuke!....

the right stick acts like a d-pad, you have to hit it just right to turn. I play on smooth turn. i agree it runs great. just the turning sucks. anyway to fix this?

right stick will turn you by kind of 30°.
I don't know if this can be modified.

Abandoned? This is a stupid description to apply to a game that has reached its design goals and, to all intents and purposes, been finished.
