STAND OUT

STAND OUT

How are they doing this?
I've noticed that at the start of every round, there are usually at least a couple to several players that will choose to jump immediately. On the desert map, this usually means a significant portion of the players end up in the ocean, far from anything...I noticed that every time this happens, after a few seconds these players will somehow find weapons...out in the middle of the ocean. No boats, no buildings, nothing nearby that would spawn weapons. Same goes for the bigger map when the starting circle has a portion of ocean in it.

How are they doing this? Where are they finding weapons from? I've also noticed the same during the pregame lobby, especially when I've cleared a building, a few seconds later another user will come in behind me and find a weapon that was not there when I went through, and if I try this myself, by clearing a building then returning some time later, the building will remain clear to me, but other users will find other weapons that were not available to me...

Not complaining here, just curious.

they're bots and they're given weapons out of thin air some times after they land.
I saw it with my own eyes when I tried to follow someone -- that I thought was human at first -- carrying nothing. I never took my eyes off of this "person". After a while, this "person" spontaneously wielded a weapon and shot me in point blank.

One of the things that I really dislike about this developer is that he finds ways to make it unclear if you are in a lobby with players or bots. Both WarDust and Standout employ similar tricks such as giving all the bots names that seem like players.
