dude, that's awesome. i was always upset the music score sucked in this game. thanks for fixing it bro.
do you think it's possible to mod the voices in this game as well? is it as simple as opening a AWB and replacing the audio? it'd be cool to add custom character voices for the nomu mod.
Yeah, it's possible. But not likely to add actual My Hero voice acting.
Long answer:
I definitely couldn't do this for two reasons.
First - its a huge undertaking to sort through all of the audio and figure out what they are saying. Especially during combat, when there are no subtitles. It would be one thing if I understood Japanese, but I don't. So that's almost impossible for me unless someone has a list of the correct translations somewhere.
Second - once I had the correct translation, finding audio clips of each line would be difficult because the show clips would have music playing in the background. This means the audio wouldn't work even if I had it.
As for Nomu voice files, it could be possible since all Nomu does is screech. All you would need to do is open the right AWB and replace whatever files it's pulling for his voice.
After that, you'll have a bunch of hca files. If you get Eternity Audio Tool, you can open all the hca files in there and replace them with your dub audio files. Save that and you'll be set to use QuickBMS to reimport back to the game files.
One thing about this method, the new files CANNOT be larger than the original. Idk if you used music mod, but I had to lower the music quality to get them to fit.
