i think your level increases your defense and attack overall and thats it nothing more.
i dont know maybe i dont have to hard a time cause i use high tier characters i guess (i didnt have a hard time at lvl50) my main 3 are muscular / deku / endevor then i have a decent level dabi / all might / all for one... the first 3 have something cheesy they can spam if i need to be cheap but most the time i just carefully combo them to death with an emphasis on the word carefully.
i see, well dont sweat im sure you will get it all done what i said still holds true leveling up will make it easier even if by alittle bit so keep grinding you'll get your revenge.
an example of levels making you stronger for sure is me having gone back to the first map when i was around level 40 and doing a lvl3 team ultimate (after eating the food that lets you start at max super) and one shotting the enemy that wouldn't have been possible before damage wise so getting your level up helps regardless.
I started map 4 with level 40 deku and level 30 Jiro and Shigaraki and still got S. Did you use items? If you're new, do you know Jiro's combo? I played Jiro for some time, I could give you some mechanical tips. Unless you want to figure things out yourself, then I respect that a lot.
All that being said, Jiro is pretty weak for most missions, unless as a sidekick due to her low damage and inability to rush people down. If the mission is not time limited though she's fine, I always bring her on my team anyway.
It can be used situationally in a combo, but that was not my point. Jiro can infinite bots easily, hitting them with Y when they get off the ground. It only requires good timing. Her projectile destroys any other projectiles, making it easy to approach. Also she can overpower armored moves with her level 1. Bots are very predictable, knowing that and with some good movement and reflexes you can perfect every mission.
Anyway, I'm glad you got better and beat it yourself. It's uncommon for people to be willing to practice, given the amount of character-hating threads.
but shes also the main reason why i bought this.....(and toga, pls no hate xD)
and i noticed too that the time limited missions specialy like 45/30 second ones are pretty tough without items due to her long combo that does not that much dmg
Why Toga tho? she's s.hit
If the mission is difficult, but not time limited, you can easily win by time out. Just deal a bit of damage and keep zoning and running.
