Broken tutorial

I've been trying to do the first story mission (the tutorial) for over 25 minutes now and the one thing keeping me from progressing is the step to do a "Charged Quirk Special 1" but no matter how much I try to do it, no progress gets made. I'm playing with a controller and it tells me to hold down Y and then hit Y again after... it worked for the "Charged Quirk Special 2" but this one just isn't working. Is this a bug or.....? Because I know I'm doing exactly what the instructions are telling me and I'm about ready to Shoot Style kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of my computer

Yeah I tried it with the keyboard too, but still had the same problem. This is ridiculous

Yeah, I had trouble with the "hold" button part of the tutorial as well. And I'm using a gamepad (logitech f310 on xinput mode)

I don't know if it's a bug or just a specific timing that I am not hitting. I was able to finish it eventually, but I don't know specifically what I did. I just kept trying.

There are no difference between the times when it did not register, to the time when it actually did.

i played with controller. but you have to hold it down till your character glows a green color then release the quirk button.

lmao ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that was the solution. all you have to do is keep the button held down after the initial blast and then you turn green, which makes the next one "charged" bless you

it took me a few to get it. now if only my controller would work and online was functionally but i can wait for a patch. other then that who do you guys think youll play a lot?

I'll start going through the story mode first after work, just to unlock AFO. But after that, it's gonna be Deku. No particular reason, I just enjoy how he plays. Originally planning to go with All Might since he's my favorite, but his attacks don't feel as seamless and graceful as Deku (which is understandable, considering All Might's fighting style.)

Still plan on playing everyone from time to time, though. Just to reenact story fights and What If's (All Might vs. Muscular, Endeavor vs AFO, etc.)

Nice. i do like all might move set but deku does flow better. I like Ida but he seems to spammy. Might go with himiko
