Controller not working?

If you have a xbox controller then simply put in the charging cable as you load into the game.

welp, when i plugged it in i could only control player one and to make it worse, i had grenn screen like thingy when i could browse menu and stuff but it couldnt end, lets hope that redownload will fix ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing

From what I found out PS4 controllers work fine, its just xbox ones that arent working

Just lurking in and out of this thread constantly refreshing to see if anyone has a solution yet lmao, also struggling with this issue. Tried InputMapper and XInput Plus aswell, no luck there.

my PS4 was working with simply navigating the menu byt selecting things was a no-no

i tried the Xbox configuration assistent in steam big picture mode.... it deaktivated the second controller and i can move to the menu but most of buttons are still without a function

The solution is not having it plugged in from start but rather changing how its connected.

On an xbox 360 controller personally, and yea, it doesn't work. Hoping someone finds a fix.

It recognized the xbox controller as I was able to take a screenshot using it but not the input commands it seems.

You bet your ass I found a fix.

Open the game in Big Window mode, change the Controller Configuration config from the default one that comes with the game, go to templates and select the Default Gamepad config [says for side scrollers and shooters in description] and then press apply config.
