The map is pure garbage.
Like the title says, it just sucks there are no ifs ands or buts about it. During normal play without attempting to glitch in many maps you can go outside of the bounds of the map, and places that look like you should be able to go to on the map are completely inaccessible.

I like the way the maps leaves a trail that shows you where you have and haven't been, but it's impossible to tell if you've actually covered the area or not. There should be some sort of sensor range area on the map around your cursor. So you can tell if you've been everywhere, at the moment you just have to walk an area long enough to get enough dots to convince yourself you've thoroughly you've check everywhere.

I think your being a little over emotional, I didn't see an issue with the map, it's pretty amazing if you ask me and I was surprised that they even had the little dots and found them to be very helpful.

I look at it this way if you were actually in the wood searching with a detector you wouldn't be leaving little dots on the ground, it's pretty realistic, if your looking for some one to hold your hand your playing the wrong game. I enjoy the fact they put the time into showing a short history of some of the older items, pretty cool enjoying this.
