jobs and prestige in story mode

hi all i have started a game in story mode and have completed 50% of the two maps.but i still only have 1 prestige and i dont get any jobs?
please help,what do i do wrong?

I have got the same problem.

Look and see if you have jobs in your 'jobs' tab (laptop > e-mail > jobs).
If you have a job in there, when you complete it, the story should advance and you'll get more jobs offered.
If you don't have a job in there, take screenshots in case it's a bug.

I reloaded the game and started from the beginning - which wasn't very far back to be honest. This time I have got the pickelhaub and the quests for the third area.

i also started a new game,and this time it works

The Mega Patch requires starting a new game as mentioned in its announcement/patch notes otherwise you will into missing missions/jobs or being unable to complete existing ones properly or even when completed not receiving the correct rewards.

There were so many changes to the game and the underlaying systems that there unfortunately was no way to make the old saved games work with it :(

Oh thanks, my game works good but I had only done the tutorial :p so continue works for me but ill double check if i need to make a new game

got the same issue, and restarting might work...? gotta try that.. :/
