How to drop a bomb without it blowing up?

I've been trying to get the "Bomb maker" achievement for a while but I don't know how to drop a bomb without it blowing up? When I press the button to drop it ALWAYS blows up without fail. Is there a way to do this without it going kaboom? Thanks in advance.

To get the achievement:
Cook a grenade in the microwave until it explodes. Don't pull the pin.

I did exactly that but my issue is that I can't drop the grenade without it blowing up. I used to do it just fine prior to the sandbox update but seem to have trouble since. Was there a control change?

You can tap on the grenade while holding it to drop it. Otherwise using the C4 is easier and should work too.
