I can't pick up the shotgun.

How do I pick up the shotgun?

I entered the room and interacted with the key, but it disappeared. The shotgun is in a cabinet, but it doesn't react to any of the controls, and the game doesn't seem to have an inventory system so I can insert the key.

At one point, I managed to turn off the TV, but nothing has happened since. I wouldn't normally ask, but this game seems perfect for Walpurgisnacht, and I wanna spend the last couple of hours of it doing something fun instead of wandering around the TV/shotgun room pressing X on every wall hoping it does something.

You need to click on the tv remove to turn off the tv. the ghost will block you in and open a door further into the house.

After picking up the key from the bathroom, it unlocks the cabinet with the shotgun.

You pick up the shotgun with grip button in VR. And ' E ' in PC. It should work.

Yeah, I feel like an idiot. I figured it out literally less than twenty seconds after making that post (after looking around for closer to twenty minutes before making it, of course), and I couldn't figure out how to delete it because apparently it was still being autoapproved. I guess my problem was that I gave up and restarted the level after turning off the TV instead of just moving back to the other room like I should've.

Currently halfway through the haunted house; just split the coffin open.

Oh, and I'm playing using an XInput controller, so I meant the X button, not the X key on the keyboard, in case anyone else reads this and gets confused.
