No. Personally, this is why I feel achievements ruin gaming. You're not getting the full experience if you play the game only for achievements and wish to "hack it" to play a different way to get them

I do not hack any game, only my own play (maybe with tricks\patches for unavailable achievments, but no SAM and no hacks)

No? This is the exact same game as the flat version, just with VR support (and options for VR). Even if you could play this version in flat through some sort of emulator, it's absolutely pointless considering it is the exact same game. If you are really that much of an extreme achievement hunter that you want every single one of your games to be 100%'ed, then why not just remove this game from your account?

Pretty sure there are websites that hack achievements into your account. It's how there's 1.2% of Postal 3 players who have the broken achievements that aren't even features in the game

hacks suck

Achievements suck. Busywork checklists make games worse, not better. And the popups when you get them are just so much visual noise.

there might be a cheap way to do it, there are "vr gogles" to buy but they are empty, you put ur phone inside, i buy today something like that and basically it works for youtube or porn hub, to play games you have to download special program to connect ur phone with pc and do other things i wont tell u now, im gonna try to do it by my self but first i have to download steam vr and that is 6 gb, if that work im gonna tell u

Short answer is "yes" you can play this without a VR headset. I tested this trick to set SteamVR to use the null driver[github.com] and it worked. It comes up in a smaller screen, but it is playable.
Here is how to get it to work:
  1. Make sure SteamVR is installed
  2. Edit the *Steam Directory*/steamapps/common/SteamVR/drivers/null/resources/settings/default.vrsettings file.
    • Change "enable": false, to "enable": true,
  3. Edit the *Steam Directory*/steamapps/common/SteamVR/resources/settings/default.vrsettings file.
    • Change "requireHmd": true, to "requireHmd": false
    • "forcedDriver": "", to "forcedDriver": "null"
    • "activateMultipleDrivers": false, to "activateMultipleDrivers": true,
Now, open SteamVR and go through the calibration setup for standing and just leave all of the default values. Afterward, open Hellblade and you should be good to go. There might be a message about SteamVR in standby mode since a headset is not being worn, but just minimize it.

Hi! I'm so sorry in advance for being dumb. But here's my question:

I'm able to run the game. But I'm stuck on "Headset for better experience" screen. I figure it's not stuck but just won't read mouse, keyboard, or controller? Do we need a VR controller to play the game or a controller (I'm using Logitech, sorry I don't know how to defferentiate two controllers).

If we can play the game with regular controller, how? Please. :<

It needs an xinput game controller. If you can play the non-vr version of the game with that controller than it should also work in the vr version. I used an xbox controller, but if you don't have one I think x360ce should allow a direct input type controller to work as an xinput.

Also, the Steam/Controller configuration settings conflict with the SteamVR interface. Make sure all of those settings are unchecked other than "Guide button focuses Steam."

Hi. I also used this guide to play the game without VR. Everything works, but I ran into a problem, I can't open the second door with the character, I can't lower the focus vertically, the camera only works horizontally. How can i fix this?
