Best way to find silver and gold?

I foudn it easy to find copper and iron, but whats the best way to farm silver and gold?

I usually just end up buying silver and gold because it is a pain, yeah, even in depths of 15+. There are large NPC cities, like full on cities not just villages and they always have teleproters, so if you explore around and find them you can just teleport around buying all their silver and gold. IF you need tenergy shards, the best way I've found to farm them is to buy lots of beehives and sell the nectar. Alternatively, getting a meco drill and plating it with -durability loss and then just drilling through depth 15 and lower is the best way, can get a lot of materials for making rockfills for your private island as well.

you can't miss it..

I don't have it cause i'm watching ppl play the game, but i've seen that the blocks has white on them, with the detectors

thats how i knew about the detector cause for me i didn't even check the miner's shops
so yeah..

hmm. maybe it works only underground. cos on the surface i deffinetely saw nothing of the kind.

deeper level= more gold? like level 19 has mroe than 15?
