Did I spot a typo in Monoalphabetic Substitution Puzzle 02?

Is it me or is the 7th word in this puzzle should not be "MGEXO" but "MGZXO" instead?

Because the plain text is supposed to read "Soon after my arrival in the hotel..." So "E" = "V". So, "MGEXO" = "HOVEL" and not "HOTEL"...

...

Well, I just searched for that sentence and found out it was taken from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein novel. And the quote actually reads "hovel", and not "hotel"...

Well, forget it: this is not a typo because it is not a mistake. My bad. I decide to post this message anyway, as it might show someone else it actually is not a typo and why.
