Is today really the last day of the Gurren Lagann DLC?

From all the trailers, they say it ends on March 31, 2021, so I am wondering about if that's gonna still happen. (May 25 for the Switch version, due to the delays of publishing the DLC after launch).

Yeah, I saw the day after the date happened. Some say it might have gotten extended to the date shown on the Switch trailer.

It's gone. The only way to get another chance is via a license contract refresh, which is never cheap at all. Can't really chalk this one up as "artificial scarcity of a digital product" when this was controlled by how long one could use a foreign property for profit.

Did they really remove this without any warning? Is there an alternative way to purchase this dlc?

The date was announced in the official dlc trailer, sales were stopped a few days later, but there were no surprises.

And unfortunately there is no longer any way to have this dlc.

Well that sucks, I didn't even know about that trailer... will they bring this dlc back?

It was shown in all the available language versions of the trailer. Because licence contracts are expensive af to negotiate, I wouldn't hold my breath on it returning anytime soon. If you still want it in any form, there is the Nintendo Switch version, which ends on May 25. They do also have plans on getting more collab DLC, but no hints on what else will make it to this game.

Well good for all those who noticed on the trailer, because I certainly wasn't one of them. I had it on my wishlist, and was expecting at least some kind of warning in news update section in the library like most games. Had I know this was a limited time dlc I wouldn't be in this situation.
