cant get the kid wizard book to work on some things

im trying to get the kid wizard book to work on the flashlight moms computer and the cat clock please help

and I have all ending besides the dog ending

you need all 7 ending (including the dog ending) to use the kid wizard book.However, you can use it on the GGG magazine, duck season box, and action figure once you get your first ending.
