Can't grab anything

So, before i started the game i could grab things that get highlighted. But once i started the main game it i can't interact with them anymore although it still highlights. Is it normal or a bug?

Yep. Definitely a bug. I restarted the game and i was able to gra things again.

Make sure the game window is in focus. Keyboard controls wont work if the game window isn't selected!

Hey Cfish? Could you set up a dedicated bug reporting subforum?

I've only had one bug in my 1+ hour of playtime, but it might be useful to set one up.

(The bug is that the mouse cursor doesn't always come up on the pause menu. Happens in hunt sometimes. Had to force close the game.)

You shouldn't have to force close the game for that one, hit escape and alt tab alt tab. Alternatively if you just return to a different scene or the title it should reset. Working on a fix now!

Nope. It's not the case. The windows is focused alright. I can move, i can shoot, the object is highlighted, but i can't grab the object. One thing i noted is that this happens after i bring the steam overlay. After that i need to restart the game to make it work again.

For me it was opposite. I could grab until level two or three. I think the steam overlay has something to do with it. Everytime i bring it up i can't grab anymore.

We have found the root issue causing this. Press Shift button to gain the grab functionality back for now. We will work on a patch to fix this input edge case as soon as we can. Also you can avoid this issue by pressing Shift+Tab to go out of the steam overlay menu instead of Esc.

Devs, i think i found another bug.

On "come face me" level i selected the options button and entered the settings menu, but i couldn't get back to "come face me" menu. I don't know if this was intentional. But i had to remove the cartidge and play again to make it work.

Great to hear! One other thing, I walked into the bookcase to the right of the TV. Pressed 'E' to grab some unseen item behind the TV (While I was clipped in the bookcase.) and then I couldn't release it or even select another item to pick-up. Very weird.

With that said, I am enjoying my time with the game. Thanks!
