Challenge mode code not working????

I've tried inputting the code to activate the challenges on a controller and a keyboard but nothing is happening? when it comes to the A and B start maybe i'm doing something wrong? does it not work anymore? is there a actual start button on a keyboard i don't know about? why not just put the damn challenges on the main menu? Jesus this is so frustrating. i even typed the damn letters of the code into the redeem section of the menu but nothing.

still sat here with nothing happening when inputting konami code to activate games challenge mode. i only re-downloaded it for the challenge mode but nothing. ffs

It should be, on your directional arrow keys, up up down down left right left right on the title screen or menu screen.

While I'm not sure (checking for verification) you might need to make a character before you can access this menu. This should take no longer than 5 minutes. Make a character, play until you get your starters, and you should be able to they use the konami code to access the challenge menu.

thanks, im going to make a character again now and try it. fingers crossed
