Being level 58 is not enough for dojo rematches. Keep in mind that the dojo leaders will have perfect, tv trained temtems, with some egg techniques and items equipped.

Ideally, you should use tv trained temtems with good stats (perfects, breedjects or at least mostly green svs) and useful items equipped. You'll need to be aware of the most recommended temtems at the moment for competitive/dojo rematches and know the types strenghts, weaknesses and synergies. Tv training is important. You'll have to choose carefully the best techniques and items for each temtem and eliminate the biggest threats for your team during the pick and ban phase.

It's supposed to be challenging and similar to a competitive match. I believe dojo rematches are mostly for endgame players who have taken their time to build and train a proper team. It's not something you can do right after finishing the main story.

IV aren't required but give you a nice bonus, TV are though, my personal strategy is vulffy+kinu, both TV trained HP/spAtk even with their low IV.
they got lot of sustain and will make enemy kill themself with Exhausted, the rest if my team being fodder (still lvl 58 but kinda random TV) for when kinu is in danger. those 2 allow me to cheese Sophia/Vumpi Rasta guy/Plant Type girl in omninesia (don't try this on the old lady with poison/crystal you would get destroyed).

Most people recommend Kinu with Protector+Baton (the item that recovers you 10% HP when entering the battlefield

I have been able to beat dojo rematches with no perfect IV or TV, but it is hard for sure. My easiest match by difference is Vumbi guy, his earth/neutral are by far the easiest to destroy with the currently available temtems. I also like using Garyo with autotomy (2 turns evaiding) as it helps you get momentum in these battles. Also very important to choose your bans, find your weaknesses and try to remove them. I don't breed, but you can certainly use the eggs you get from Postal services which have mostly green IV and sometimes even some good breed moves.

Quick tip, buying breedjects is much cheaper than breeding yourself and takes less time, you can buy breedjects with 4 or 5 stats on 50 and the rest of the stats above 40 for around 3~8 thousand pansuns depending on the species. Some very rare ones that can't be caught like houchic and smazee are going to cost more at 11~18k, I bought 13 temtems with 3 or more stats at 50 and all above 40 right after finishing the campaign to start my competitive team and I spent around 80k in all of those, my friend breeded a single perfect kinu with all stats in 50 and spent more than 70k for that 1 temtem.

For PvP the SVs are going to be adjusted to 50 anyway, and for PvE like rematches those extra 8~5 SV points are not going to make enough of a difference to justify the prices of making or buying perfects.

i use Protector Kinu with baton pass to compensate the HP loss, my Vulffy got team elusive but you could make do with burglar as every rematch tem use an item.

as far i saw for my experience they arent impossible with a non total competitive squad, i use to play just with lumas (so they are almost not perfect) but able to win every week so far
