Paharo didn't learn Humiliating Slap from Tuwai

My Paharo didn't inherit Humiliating Slap.

I made sure the Tuwai had one 50SV, which took 6+ hours to get one (RNG really disliked me). I leveled the Tuwai to 27 and it learned Humiliating Slap. I made sure Humiliating Slap was in the first four slots and bred it with a Paharo female. The game confirmed egg technique would be learned.. Egg popped out.. egg hatched with no Humiliating Slap. Awesome. leveled it to 8 so it would evolve to Paharac maybe it was a Paharo bug, nope. I'll level it more while getting another Tuwai since that one was evidently glitched tomorrow. I shall update this post if leveling corrects the bug, don't know why it would though. Only end-game is making perfect Temtems and it might decide not to inherit your egg technique... gotta admit if that's intentional this is too hardcore for me. Ppls original estimations for pansuns per perfect temtem will rise as they add more techniques/temtems significantly if egg techniques aren't 100% chance to inherit.

Could be that this technique is only learned at a specific level, even if it is inherited?

I mean, some techniques are incredibly powerful (like Extinction, which can also be inherited) and could break the early game if someone were to trade you a bred lvl.1 Temtem with it, for funsies.

Maybe try leveling your Paharac to level 27 and see if it learns Humiliating Slap at the same level his daddy did? Of course that's pure speculation but you never know.

well as I suspected Let the Paharo become and Granpah and hit lvl 27, still no Humiliating slap. Upon awaking this morning though I've come up with three possibilities on what might be bugged.

#1 it's possible hatching two eggs at the exact same time causes an egg technique glitch. I was in menues browsing when two egg timers hit 0, they hatched back-to-back.

#2 My Tuwai had just hit 27 and I used the "change" button and put Humiliating Slap on the first slot. When i looked at my squad to double check the move was there it was, and also showed on the breeding menu in slot one. However when i put my Tuwai into my storage after breeding and clicked details Humiliating Slap was over in the learned Techniques. It's possible human error was to blame as I did 8 breeds at once. However that was the only cross(egg tech)breed thus i spent significantly more time double checking I did it correctly. I'd like to think there's a bug with the "change" button when you level that it desyncs what the game code sees until you manually swap them around.

#3 Maybe the 1st few slots are always wind blade and peck for a Paharo so the code gave me Humiliating Slap on slot one first. Then the code preceded to overwrite slot one with Wind Blade and Peck, but maybe if I had put Humiliating Slap on the 3rd slot on my Tuwai it would've gone to slot 3.. i'll try that next time.

Just going to give up and start the breed at generation 6, upon trying to get another Tuwai had much the same luck, which was no luck.
