Temtem

Suggestion: Am I the only one to think that Fomu needs a fix?
I caught one at the first chance I got at Windward fort. I looked for one with good stats and planned to make it evolve, but I gave a look on the wiki and see it takes 20 levels to evolve, so mine should after level 30.

The point is that I looked up him and Wiplump using the wiki and noticed that Wiplump learns all kind of cool moves that Fomu doesn't, and most of them before mine could get the chance to evolve.
Since mine doesn't have this high attack stat it will make him fairly useless midgame, until it evolves, but at that point it won't have a lot of special moves.

I wouldn't mind to train him even longer if I knew that I wouldn't lose any opportunity to make him learn a new move or being stronger when it becomes a Wiplump. But right now it feels like a waste of time.
Why would I stick with my Fomu, which I grew attached to, when now that I have a Surf I can simply catch a Wiplump in Sillaro's River and get a stronger one than what my Fomu can ever hope to be?

I don't know maybe there is a way to make him learn Cold Breeze and Blizzard after it evolves but if there isn't one why don't make him evolve after 10 levels? That would be more reasonable in my opinion.

These could be retro-active, as in, the ability could come with the evolution, even though it's supposed to be unlocked at level 17. I'm pretty sure it's the case, since I can recall finding out about some techniques the game never notified me about, on some Temtems that have several evolutions.

I know what you mean, I realized that about Mushi not learning any melee attacks beyond the level you catch them at, making evolving it into Mushook kinda pointless. If its possibly retroactive though, that's good to know, hopefully that's true.

But that's also exactly the point as far as I can tell, there's supposed to be moves that Temtem only learn if bred, which is also the easiest way to get ones with good stats by the way.
just get a Fomu egg

It's retroactive.

When your tem evolve, he gain every moves he sould have learned naturaly before.

Your move set is always retroactive, meaning when it evolves it should have access to those moves. You can always change your moves in the Temtem's status menu.

The retroactive moveset is really nice. I can't wait another ten levels then.
