Offline alternatives to Temtem?

I'd rather play games with an offline mode. Are there any games that are like this, but without forced internet connection nor any other live service features?

EDIT: Please, only mention games that I can get on Steam and play on PC.

Pokemon is the closest thing to Temtem and those are mostly offline games. If you want one that's more story-focused check out the Shin Megami Tensei games (SMT 3 is on Steam).

Coromon is alright, but monster sanctuary was more fun. Temtem is in a league of its own.

Emulators, Romhacks and fan games. there's so many pokemon games on PC that's free. Especially fan games. some fangames like Pokemon Xenoverse or Pokemon solar light and lunar dark can last you for about 50 hours+.

okay, I will admit. Most of the romhacks are just pokemon emerald edits. you'll almost hate every single romhack because of this after playing in the hoenn region for the 20'th time.

Play Pokemon roms on an emulator on your PC. You can do that for free.

only if you run on a real pc, on my cloud gaming setup it just says "nope no VMs here", iirc also runs well on steamdeck (dont have one but tried at a friend)
