For PvP, you just hit matchmaking and it will put you up against someone of your ranking. It will also scale your temtem to max level and max SVs (IV equivalent of pokemon) you still need to train for TVs (EV equivalent of pokemon) and for moves
Story wise there is around 60 hours of gameplay I would say. Content wise it depends on you, but I have over 500h currently
Holy hell
Definitely ready to play then
Thanks for the detailed answer

The top voted review is about people being banned from the game.
I assume this is widespread as the review has awards and many upvotes.
What causes the bannings?
I don't want to get caught out
As long as you play the game normally, you don't need to worry about getting banned
As they have already told you, PvP is optional.
However, keep in mind that this is not pokemon, you will suffer all the gym fights and more than once or twice if you are careless with a route trainer it will send you to respawn.
And the story is much, much more adult and a million times better than any pokemon story.
yes i think the story is where this game also really shines.
the pokemon story never made me laugh this much. its great humor, for old and young.
