What starter did everyone pick?

Kind of wish Steam had a poll option (unless I'm dumb and don't know wtf I'm doing) but I'm curious as to what the most popular starter was.

So yeah comment down below with who ya picked. I went straight to Houchic personally 'cus I heard Crystle was available to catch and I don't like monkeys

It was a tough choice between Houchic and Crystle, but I went with the latter.

It's too bad that Crystle is the only starter that can be found in the wild (in the current build), as that makes it feel less special.

Besides, my gut tells me that being mental type its going to be the last if also not the hardest of the three to catch later on, and what we've seen so far has proven me right.

So far I like the synergies mental has too, it works very nicely with nature and itself, which sorta make sense.

Before the early access release, when many people joined the game for free during the stress tests, most players (almost half of them) picked Houchic.

I don't know if you have read this but apparently (don't read if you don't want spoilers about future islands) the last island is Arbury which is the island of the mental and melee temtem according to the wiki, so Houchic and Smazee will probably be there.

I wouldn't say Crystle is that easy to find though, since their spawn rate is very low (5%).

True, though it is found at a convenient location, you don't need to go to one specific remote place to find it like other rare tems.

5% rate is pretty fair for a starter tem. I remember catching pokemon starters was hard too. (I mean, first pokemon games. I didn't play the last ones)
