Not enough potential?
so someone traded me a max lvl vulcrane and when i tried to put it in my party it said that i needed to train more help?

you cant use traded tems that are a higher level than any tem you caught yourself. It'd be too unfair that way

so can i use it once I get a temtem to 48 also?

I believe it's more for in-game balance than "unfairness", which is understandable so you do not ROFLstomp the story
