Cancles button not working?
What Keyboard or gamepad?
did you check if canceling was even possible atm? Also what Tem get's badder when it evolvs nothing changes not if even then the moveset but the rest is the same wtf?
if you where going with keyboard please take into consideration that the
Z button and Y button switch place on a europe layout... so if youw ant to press Z you actually need to press Y but that is something that everyone should know.
(Don't take that as a flame, I'm really curious about what lead to such a decision.)
What about an item similar to the TV reducing item that devolves your Tem? That could at least help somewhat and would be in line with other items in the game.
Could we at least get a message on the evolution screen that says "Hold Y to Cancel Evolution" or something?
It seems a bit strange to just wing it because "people should know how because they played Pokemon" in a game that is trying so hard to say that it's not just Pokemon again.
also to prevent an accidental press... just imagen a temtem evolves at 45 because you caught it with a high level and then you interrupt the evolution.... people would rage way often than the other way around..
also.. i really thought you pressed the button down and not just pressed it shortly. That one really is on you and not the game
also please tell us which TemTem you mean, which one is better unevolved than the evolved.
It doesn't tell you how to cancel the evolution UNTIL you press it, though. You have to look it up outside of the game somewhere.
That's poor design.
I mean durr...temtems evolve...don 't want them too? ask or look up the damn button or you got no one to blame but yourself.
Don't come in here and start posting (that's poor design) It does'nt make you look smart.
By that very logic that the game must show you how to do things then I guess every game that does'nt tell you to hit w to move forward has poor design as well.
Also for another point...OG pokemon games did'nt tell you to push the B button to cancel evolution either so..poor design I suppose :P
I think, it's about Raibers evolutions as they switch ATK and SPATK. Raize has 46ATK/69 SPATK while Raican has 77 ATK/51 SPATK. And its strongest attack is Fire Tornado which is a special attack.
ohh I didn't know.. wow thank you for that information.
The game doesn't have chat. Literally can not ask anyone in game yet.
It isn't listed anywhere in the game either.
Having to go outside of the game to find out the controls to the game is, by definition, poor design.
Pokemon was also poorly designed at the beginning, so using "Pokemon does it too" doesn't really hold water. At least they have the excuse of having been designed in an era where these types of messages were rare and memory was precious.
And again, for a game that is trying so hard to distinguish itself somehow from Pokemon, where it's taken 90% of its mechanics from, the argument of having had to play a completely different game to understand the controls to this one is also poor design.
