It went away.

Why tho?

No idea, I hope it was unintentional, there seems to be no communication from the devs.

some dev postet that the use of family share was never intendet and they told steam but steam didnt listen and deactivated it just now

From what I heard Family Sharing was never meant to be enabled for Temtem, they notified Steam of the issue and Steam was slow to disable it.

Ho, so that's why people are mad

yeah, but their anger is misguided.

no misguidence here if there were such statements then they should be made clear and easily accessible by every player. "DONT PLAY ON FAMILY SHARE ITS GOING TO BE DISABLED STEAM MESSED UP" but no.

people act as if the whole playerbase is 24/7 on discord or where ever that was mentioned. but its not the players duty to Dig in forums or third party software for mandatory information!

My little brother is upset because he loves the game, but he played by sharing the game purchased in my account and now he can't. Now he isn't sure if he wants to buy his own copy, because he fears that all his data is lost. Someone here can tell me from experience if data remains in the steam account, or if you are forced to start from scratch?

If he was playing on his account using family sharing from your library, he should still have his save data on his account, but im not 100%, someone will have to confirm.

Thank you, that's reassuring at least

This is unreal - the game was advertised with family sharing, so I bought it on my account for my son to play, (so my other son could play if he wanted). Now my son can't play it and I'm left with a dead duck - esp after sourcing the cheapest copy from GMG.

Oh well, PayPal resolution centre here I come...
Wow I just spent 10 minutes going through my settings. Oh well, time to go to Paypal Resolution Centre as I bought this to share with my daughter.
