Monthly charge and cross platform

After the game is released, will there be a monthly charge to play the game or will it be pay for game and play forever? Also, as it is releasing on multiple platforms, is there going to be cross play or specific for each platform? Thank you and really looking forward to the game.

As the post above says, there won't be any monthly fee. The game will release on Steam, PS4, XB1, and Switch. They want to include crossplay as much as they can, although not all consoles allow that. They mention it in one of the Kickstarter updates.
