Temtem

How are you supposed to beat Sophia?
She has way too much temtem that are way too strong.
Either Tesla Prison needs a nerf, it can easily sweep my whole team.
Or she needs to loose atleast 1 temtem, it's not possible to beat her, my team is lvl 21
Edit: Grinding to Level 30 now, if it's still not possible then, i will uninstall because that would be ridiculous

Items. If your Temtems are leveled up decently and you're still unable to beat her, use a fair amount of items. You can usually outpace what she's doing with revives and balm+.

also pay attention to EVs, if your team is weak you'll need to overlevel them.

Level up more, also what does your team look like?

lol There are people that are much harder than Sophia, but people have beat all the content available right now. Just like any MMORPG you have to grind in order to be strong. You need to level up at least 4 Temtem to level 25ish. Make it into a Luma hunt instead of a harsh grind. I got my 2 main Temtem to 35 just looking for Barnshe and Nessla and doing the quests.

Half your team is weak to electric moves, no wonder you got rekt.
Maybe replace barnshe with a saku.
Switch out immediately when she get type advantage on you and make use of sleep status.
Mid fight you can use your tankiest mon to stall a turn or two and use revives/balms.

Well Sophia is probably the biggest wall, she has a big level on you with type advantages and your temtem selection is pretty limited when you face her at that point.

From what I remember, the only difficult temtem she has is oceana. Or whatever its name is. That thing used tsunami and nearly wiped my last two temtem. Items are your friends sometimes. That or use temtem that do serious damage to her stuff. Test out the abilities and what not.

Go catch a Nessla as well. One with the electric trait. It will make the game so easy paired with Ganki and chain lightning. They are found in Thalassian Cliffs in a small part of water with a waterfall.

To beat Sophia I used a Barnshe, Tateru, Skunch, Saku and 2 Ganki. They all were about level 20 something.
I first of all used Barnshe and Saku since Sophia will always start with Kalabyss and Loali, so you can beat them perfectly. Kalabyss is weak to wind and electric and Loali is weak to fire and toxic (Saku has a toxi attack). Then I gave Skunch the amulet (i dont know exactly the name in english, but it will be useful to avoid your temtem from being doomed by Sparzy). Then i used tateru and one ganki to defeat Pigepic and Tuwal since both are wind type and of course the're very weak to electric. And finally i gave an umbrella to one of my Gankis to resist the tsunami of Oceara. I didnt use any revives or anything.

Except you can't catch Nessla until you've beaten Sophia, so...

Just used Ganki and Saku personally, Eletric + Nature types did the job
