Makes you plan you're attack and actually make use of typing advantage instead in Pokemon you just spam you're starter till you win.
once i found attacks/abilities that can heal my temtems this game got way to easy. ive been underleved or on par and have had no issues. i dont even know any of the type match ups yet i just use the temtems i like.
It's meant to make you think about the moves you use and how often.
It's not perfect at that, and could use adjustment, but it's not inherently bad in concept to punish you for spamming high damage moves constantly without thinking.
i mean i guess if ur not used to it .. it gets kinda frustrating and like " why am i hurting myself while trying to progress?"
like i said i like this game but yeah its just different.
It's all about strategy.
You can't necessarily brute force your way through an encounter with your strongest moves or you risk doing more harm than good. It forces you to think strategically. Sometimes you need to use your weaker moves, or forfeit a turn so you can use a couple of strong moves back to back.
Besides, you can also use it to your advantage against enemies. Rival Temtem tend to use their stamina with little regard. It's quite possible to win a victory against an otherwise superior Temtem by using stall tactics and letting it weaken itself.
The only time I've found it to be a bit of an annoyance is when trying to capture a wild Temtem. There has been more than one occasion that I've severely weakened one, only for it to break free from my capture attempt and attack me on a following turn on low stamina - knocking itself out in the process. But that's nothing I can't adjust for in the end.
LMAO XD
yeah i think that would help some
This on the other hand, while small scale battles can be press A to win, facing any more than 2 causes you to think, even just for a moment on how to use your stamina and damage efficiently . Heck, I even use power moves damaging my own tem tems just to assert my dominance, its freakin' metal, dude! It's like blood magic, I slit my tem tems' wrists and just blast the opponents 6 feet under!
tip: u dont have to "wait" u can throw out a different temtem while ur low stamina one recovers
Yeah, right. Because same rules definetely do not apply to your opponent.
Just admit that you don't want to do any thinking above 1 button sweeper spam and move on to a different game, the current system is perfect the way it is.
