Evolved.....but didnt evolve?

I evolved a swali saw the animation got the new move yadda yadda but its still a swali and now doesnt have the new move in the tempedia it shows that i have the next form captured....im just confused will it evolve again in another lvl do i need to capture a new one cause the game will recognize it as already evolved? im so confused any advice at all would be great

I'm having the same glitch with my Paharo. It keeps evolving but keeps de-volving afterwards. Every level up it's doing it but it isn't keeping the evolved form. :( Would love to hear if there's a fix.

You can cancel the evolution. Don't hit that button.

I think you mean the model didn't change. It's some minor graphical bug by the looks of things. My Paharo evolved fine, but my Skali looks like a skali in the overworld despite being a Loali in the Squad menu and when in battle.

EDIT: Hm. It did un-evolve when I logged out and back in, however. Very strange.

My Paharo evolved at level 9; in the overworld it stayed a Paharo, but in battle was a Paharac like it was supposed to be. After healing, it goes back to being a Paharo in battle, and will evolve back into a Paharac after levelling up again, but will still be a Paharo in the overworld.

It's really strange. The dev team have finally gone to sleep though so it might be a few hours before a fix is put out.
My Paharo stayed a Paharac, at least.

It did the same to me, and I believe it happened because my Paharo that evolved was in the first slot of my team, therefore being my follower in the overworld. And I think the game just doesn't know what to do about that.
I'll try and see if evolving him in the 2nd slot works better and I'll let you know.

EDIT:
Now my Paharo is not even getting exp anymore and everytime I try to heal it, I get stuck in the item screen and can't do anything but restart the game.

Thats sad but damn, my Loali sucks hard. She looks really underwhelming lvl 16 i think.

I think Loali is fine, personally. It was the first Temtem I really liked.

What I think is the bigger issue is that because Swali is a coccoon, I feel like it should be a second-stage.

Can confirn having the same issue with Swali and Paharo. When they gain another level they evolve again.

By placing my Swali on the 2nd slot (not following me around) I was able to keep the evolution after the fight. I then stored the Loali on the PC and rebooted the game. It's still there and I can even put it in the first spot and have it follow me around.

Her Tempedia entry vanished though.

In my case it seems that healing Loali devolves her back into Swali even if she was never my primary slot. Tempedia entry stays open.

Have you tried storing her on your computer and rebooting the game? I did both that and the 2nd slot thing, so I'm not sure which one did the trick.
