A Raven Monologue

A Raven Monologue

Who wrote this poem?
Dearest Sir Raven,
Do you still wander around without end?
Crafting colors under the still and silent
Not knowing I'm waiting here alone without a friend

Dearest Sir Raven,
When you are around, would you mind to stop by?
Just a hello, just a moment
To let me savor the memories before our goodbye

Dearest Sir Raven,
Let us go home
To the place devoid of reality frame
Where I shall watch over us even without a logical form

I'm an oldy lady. Grandma to a handful beautiful grandchildren. My husband died a few years ago. Although I speak to him every once in a while I feel that he's missing. I've lived my life. Now I feel ready to join hands with my husband in the place devoid of reality frame. Will you Sir Raven come to say hello. I will sit in my coral red armchair with a cup of tea for you an me.
Let us go home.
- Otilde

A few days later a beautiful old lady was found dead in a coral red armchair. In her finest clothing she sat there in peace, with a slight smile on her lips and a dried out tear on her left cheek. Her face told a story of a lifetime.

I sat down next to the coral red armchair, took her hand and cried. Not in grief nor in despair, but in respect for the old lady and her last wish.
