New UI too big on my 1080p monitor

I was surprised about the new update! Wanted to read more about it but i kinda dislike the new UI. Everything is so big and it makes everything kinda feel cluttered. Would love a way to revert back to the older style ui. Really think this new ui works best on bigger monitors which unfortunately i dont have.

I have the same problem,It happened since the last steam update. My screen resolution is 1920x1080

I think it is a steam issue, not a SP

Try setting the compatibility mode to "run as admin" & see if it solves the issue.

agreed it's absolutely ugly and catering for tablet users.
Please make an option to revert back to the old UI

ps: Better fix the bugs not the UI which was fine the way it was ie: can't output . All the people in my company reverted back to the last 2017 version.......


FYI I've been struggling for the past day with getting this into Substance, then after doing a bunch of digging I find out there's a bug in this (new) version! So I deleted and installed an older version and there's no problems. Phew but annoying I wasted all that time :disappointed_relieved: I thought I was doing something wrong so I kept fixing the mesh :confounded:

@philip If you use Substance anytime soon don't install the 2018 version, stay with 2017.4, it has less bugs!

yeah I installed it once and immediately un-installed as i didn't like the interface design and had to hunt around to find anything :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah it was messing me up! It won't bake out the textures over 2k, it hangs on AO.
