Amazing rhythm game

Plays well, had to use REWASD to rebind other remotes to work with keystrokes, but works fine. Will eventually buy a proper throttle controller for it...such a fun game!

If you are having button / timing / sync issues, id suggest checking your monitor and making sure its as low latency as possible (game mode?) as well as making sure the game is running with adequate ram/vram...shouldn't need an insane amount, but this could cause timecode delineation in some of the high visual parts. There is delay offset feature in the settings menu in game, however this will only solve input/output latency issues and not fix any form of delineating time-code variance that could happen if if the game is rendering poorly....that being said, the game is running perfectly smooth on Ryzen 9 / 4080 in 2025.

Good luck! Plenty of tracks included with the base game purchase, and lots of dlc as well. Worth the buy~

My playtime is much higher than it seems since I was playing offline while traveling.

This game is really low energy for a steamdeck and doesn't drain a battery.

The game needs a little bit of configuration to work right on the steamdeck but it works perfectly as a get up and start and stop game once you get it ready.

As far as the game goes it's really fun.

I really wanted to like this version of Groove Coaster, however the steam/PC version is ultimately unplayable. The timing on the songs is poor and you can never fix the inputs which is disappointing because it always feels wrong. The UI is decent and the maps are fun but I wouldn't recommend buying it, maybe only if it was heavily discounted.

The game is long abandoned by the devs and most of the enjoyable songs are locked behind DLC and even then it's still overpriced and not worth the money.

If you really want to play Groove Coaster, consider any other version than this one (unless you're out of options).
