Will Space Invaders Extreme 2 also be coming to Steam?

I had both 1 and 2 on my DS way back then and I was addicted to both games. I would love to see both of the Space Invaders Extreme games here on Steam, considering this revision of the DS classic has made the game so much better!

It doesn't seem likely given that SIE2 is a DS-exclusive and relies heavily on having a dual-screen setup; Rounds and the Fever Time UFOs take place in the top screen.

I wonder if Taito's just testing the waters with this release on Steam. I'm also hoping we see a Switch release somewhere down the line. Big fan of the DS version.

It's not like we don't have the screen space for the double height (aka 2 screen) play field. I can imagine having a height play field during normal gameplay, with the bingo and other ui moved to the sides of the screen, and then transitioning to a double height play field during bosses and Fever Time.
