Yes, and we recommend using a Xbox controller.
And yes! Slots can be filled with AI opponents either automatically in "Online" mode and or they can be customized in the custom "Create" -mode.
No problem!
Does your controller work with any other game?
Is it a wired or wireless controller?
Do you have any other usb hubs, controllers or other devices connected to your computer?
Thank you!
Hey Saukkoman... Thanks for the info and the fast reply. I’m definitely going to check this out. I have a huge soft spot for top down racing (spent a lot of coin on games like Super Sprint way back when). Designing it with analogue controls is greatly appreciated!
You're very much welcome! We know how much it matters that you can adjust your throttle in games like these. And when you do grab the game, tell us what's great and what's less than great, we'll gladly hear all the feedback we can!
Hi #SALTY!
Just a few questions to help us figure out what's up:
What controller is it: Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 4, MadCatz etc.?
Is it a wired or wireless controller?
Do you have any other usb hubs, controllers or other devices connected to your computer?
Hi axperial!
Try unplugging the wheel, it might be taking the #1 player slot. You can check this by pressing the X button in a local lobby, it should activate another player.
We are getting a fix for this in the near future.
Hi again SharpBullet. I have been testing this very much today but I can't reproduce the problem. If your controller suddenly stops working usually the game window has lost focus (meaning you clicked something else with the mouse or alt+tabbed) and getting the window focus back to game makes it work instantly. Our game runs in Borderless WIndowed mode and with mouse always visible so it is very easy to accidentally click something else than the game window especially if you have multiple monitors. Another is that the controller disconnects for a short period and reconnects. We have hotplugging in the game but when the controller disconnects and is reconnected it takes about 3-4 seconds before the controller starts working again. Please check if your controller disconnects even for a very short period while playing.
If you still get the problem, can you please tell the things you did with the game before the controller stops working so I can get reproduceable steps to test myself.
No problem!
Allright. But do tell us if anything else pops up with your controller, we'll be here to help you figure it out.
