Infinite Metal Glitch on Megaman X8

So, I'm just starting and I decided to go for X8, a childhood favorite.
I'd like to know: did anyone try the Infinite Metal Glitch? Does it still work in this version?

PS: Can a kind soul mod the game like RIGHT NOW so we can mute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Alia in X5???

Not anymore, and the Rasetsusen glitch too.

I've been dependent on the Rasetsusen glitch for like 95% of the times I've beaten Sigma Palace 2. Great.

I actually never used the Rasetsusen one!!
But man, now I gotta search for ways to farm some metal. Have no idea how I'll get my three characters to 100%.

You folks have some sugestions?

I will probably do the same method as I did on PS2 - metal generator, rubber band the analog stick to the left ( I use Noah's park) and AFK overnight. Boom, tons of metal
