What the heck is the OP talking about? The replication of the X1 to X6 is almost perfect ( save for the problems in X4), and I say that because I already have those games on the original hardware and I compared them.
They are in no way inferior, the problems are the same that they were on the original hardware. I'm one of the first to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Capcom when they do a poor job, but that's not the case here.

I understand your point. Yes, maybe this is the best way to play the original games in PC (in original consoles experiences). The problem is the fan players playing in emulators for years, applying some mods and tweaks.
The negative points in my opinion is the poor options with keyboard, fullscreen issues and using bad version like X3, where could be placed the PSX version with animated videos.
After all, i'm happy to play the X franchise in PC using a legit way.
