How to get all 8 parts in MMX5?

It's the last achievement I need, I've finished the game 3 times, I've been through it several times without even saving, and the maximum I got was 7 parts!

Enter a stage, don't beat the boss, die, go to stage select. Do this until you have 10 hours left. Then beat all the bosses with Zero. You'll get all the parts.

Bosses only drop parts when they're Lv8 or higher, and after beating the boss, it will offer Weapon and Life + or Weapon and Energy +. The plus symbol is parts.

As the timer for the colony goes down, boss levels go up. Boss levels also go up if you're SA rank or above, which Zero starts out as. You have to die and quit several times so that the first boss you beat is a high enough level to give parts.

The achievement is for the equippable parts, not X's armor parts.

To get everything you need to waste time. Depending on who you are going to main, you'll need to waste time with the other character.

So if you're going to try to unlock all the parts with X, you need to waste time with Zero, and vice-versa if you intend to main Zero. The reason for this is because dying game over will actually de-rank them, so you want to keep them at their minimum rank (It's easier to do with Zero because he starts at SA).

So if you intend to get all 8 with X, waste time with zero until you have about 8 or 9 hours. You might need to launch the rocket/cannon early because you could run out of time with X. Once you're at about 9 hours, that's where you start playing as X.

For Zero, because of the Hunter Rank SA bonus, he can start earlier than X, so waste time with X until you're at about 10~11 hours left. Then start beating the game as Zero.

You can start with whichever. It's beat the first maverick as the one you want to main. And waste the time with the other one.

Pretty much maintain their rank before you start actually beating the game.

the struggle is real, I been following all the suggestions for this...getting the timer to 10 then defeating bosses as Zero, my problem is i defeated Grizzly and no part, defeated Kraken.....no part defeated Necrobat....no part and now im timer was at like 7.....chose X who was rank B went into Grizzly stage and then exited and got a Saber extender....it makes no sense at all why i defeated 3 boses all over lvl 8 and never received a part

because it takes time to research the parts... the game tells you that if you would read the text instead of skipping it
