how troublesome is X5's 16 hour countdown?

So I've recently finished collection 1 a few days ago and been anticipating to continue to collection 2 with X5 to start off but I feel discouraged to play from being timed with 16 hours to obtain the missile parts. I don't want to like waste time because due to dying in stages or picking others, maybe backtracking for items too. So how troublesome or worrying is it?

The time limit is not troublesome at all. You waste one hour every time you enter a stage: were you to lose all lives, you can retry the level with no penalty (as long as you don't leave it, that is).

You won't be able to collect all items within the time limit, but once the Eurasia crysis has been resolved, you will be able to revisit all stages without pressure.

Don't worry, the success rate is random.
Also, at least on 09 hours remaining with X or 11 with Zero, you will start to get item parts when you defeat the bosses, they are kind of helpful.
