X8 Cheats Not Working

I finsihed this game a lot on my PS2 already. I just wanted to buy the PC version so I can play it anytime now. I tried using the cheats but they don't work for me. I am using a Logitech F310 controller.

On the title screen with your cursor on continue(or New game) enter the cheat code with the same buttons that you would with a PS2 controller. Since the Logitech has letters instead of shapes on it, just press the buttons depending on what shape would be there IF it was a PS2 controller. X should then say something signifying that you have but it in correctly.
(Not sure if this is what you meant by "cheat codes")

Yes, I have tried this. I did the Ultimate X Armor (3 Left, 3 Right, 4 Left, 4 Right) at the title screen and I heard the sound when you enter a cheat code. I went and check and I did not have the Ultimate X armor at all.

It should be working. Did you finish Noahs Park then check the character select with X? The armor appears as a subcategory to X rather then a seperate charcter like the I & H armors.

I have just finished the X8 Story and when I tried the cheat codes they work now! Thanks for the help!
