question about coolision hours in mega man x5

never played in megaman x5 -x8 ok? and i dont know what this hours counter does its like you have 16 tries to replay levels to find everything or what?

Yes everytime you select a level the timer goes down by one
And if the timer reaches 0 the it forces the laser and shuttle to be used

The countdown as a game mechanic is quite disappointing, to be honest. One can retry a stage an unlimited amount of times, and only 1 hour will ever pass. A better implementation should have been "wasting" one hour every time you lose all your lives. I think that would have added a much needed sense of urgency to the entire mechanic.

Not really. Once the Eurasia colony has been dealt with, you can revisit any stages with no penality whatsoever.

you can ignore the timer completely, it serves no purpose. "ACTUALLY, if you want a chance at the best ending.....". Thank you nerd, megaman series was never about story, who cares..
