Cause i liked command mission
And i hope to see mmx9
Really? I thought it was because of Mega Man 9 and 10 were well received. And say whatever you will about Mighty Number 9, but the popularity of its Kickstarter campaign has shown that there is still a demand for this type of game.
When i first looked at Mega Man 9, i initially thought it should have been Modern HD graphics instead of the NES-style but then i changed my mind and learned to like it and then found it was a wise move so it will bring in the masses once again. I feel that X9 should do the same because that means rekindling the popularity X1 had with 1.16 millions sold for the SNES, If that wouldn't happen then JKB's fangame, Megaman X: Corrupted would fill that void even if X9 is built on the same engine as MM11 yet considered a decent game.
I'm honestly afraid X9 would screw up the series again if it's another X7-ish garbage. But again, Fangames will fill the void if X9 fails.
Popular/critical opinion on them was high, but they released on a system no one was going to buy for just those two titles.
Well yeah but that's the console's fault, not the games'.
Lack of new X-game before MM9 and 10 is probably because they simply didn't know what to do with the series altogether. It most definately had nothing to do with manking new engine since they already had awesome MT Framework.
Mega Man Zero is "100 years later" but it's never specified if it is 22XX or even 23XX. Also there's the thing about the Force Metals being used on ZX as the Biometals for the Models.
It has elements that are referenced in other games but that's kinda the point with alternative-universe and/or non-canon spin off takes to begin with. Otherwise you would end up saying that DB Xenoverse 2 is canon to Dragon Ball Super just because they both share some stuff, at which point NOTHING would ever be "Not canon".
Axl singlehandedly destroys any chance of CM being remotely canon anyway. He just creates so many contradictions CM's spot in the canon timeline shouldn't even be discussed to begin with.
