SPOILER FREE - How to get the Prank Masterz ending

Here, now you guys can learn from my hour and a half a pain, frustrated groaning, and restarts. This is SPOILER FREE because I beleive in helping but letting everyone experience it for themselves. :)

Don't worry about most of your stats or who to go after. Once I figured it out it's not a too hard ending to get and I'm not yet if prom choice affects anything!

To start you have to buy the Arcane Spellbook from the store. This ending can be done in a short game but you have to buy the book within the first week for it to work. When Scott and Polly come to you then you're on the path!

For the first choice:
If your Wealth is more than Charm - BUY THE THING

Second Choice:
If your Creativity is more than Charm - HEIRLOOM OPTION

Third Choice:
If your Smarts are more than Charm - UPGRADE STUFF


The one thing I didn't test was who to go to prom with. I went by myself and got it but idk if going with either Scott or Polly changes things or stops the ending. Just getting the ending at all was a victory I didn't want to rock the boat and miss it. And now I'm done and gonna go play Shadows of Mordor

And as you can see, it seems that CHARM is what you want to invest in if you want to not worry about stats. Just spend your life in the gym and you're good to go.

I don't think it matters who you go to prom with. Or at least it doesn't matter as long as it's not Polly or Scott (didn't test them), because everyone else will reply to your invitation with a "Are you crazy?! Did you see all those tentacles?! What prom are you even talking about, we gotta fight for our lives!" kind of line and run away.

Got this ending by accident (misclicked and went to the shop instead of some other location, saw the book and bought it thinking "What can possibly go wrong?"). The final slides and the song were epic and totally worth screwing up the route I was originally going for.

gonna run this route a third time and try for Scott or Polly to see if I get to survive lol
even though I have a feeling the outcome won't change !

Do you know if the book will reappear in the shop after already buying it once? I was playing with friends and while we got some of the scenes leading up to it, we ultimately failed to get this ending and would like to have another chance.

As long as it's a new game it'll be in the shop as normal!

The totem has replaced it, unfortunately. I'm starting to think that I may have to reset.

This is DEFINITELY a glitch. I've played (and failed) it multiple times, but the book always came back for the game. It won't show back up if you failed it but haven't finished/abandoned the run though.

I'm going to go ahead and reset since my group hasn't made much progress anyway. Hopefully doing so will set things straight.

is the october update still live? i havent seen the book in the shop or seen anyone in costume but i still saw credits for the prank masterz anthem
