I think there are certain stat requirements that at least make it more likely for a secret ending to trigger. But no one has pinpointed it enough to make a proper guide for it.

I concur, the difficulty spike is infuriating after discovering half the secret endings and 3/4 of the events. Quite discouraging when I cannot get an ending due to a time constriant or a slew of stat choice failures. Its seems after three there is no way to recover in short game or halfway through medium game.

After about a dozen hours of play I figured enough out that I can reliably get standard good endings if I know the minimum stat requirements. What is frustrating to me is that as far as we know any secret endings that do not require items is entirely random. Some secret endings seem to trigger only if you are on another character's path, which I felt was an infuriating design choice, though I could be wrong here. I spent hours trying to get one of Damien's secret endings and it was a hell of a slog. Sure, they are secrets for a reason, but there got to be a way to increase the odds (maybe stats come into it. I doubt it but maybe).

I don't find this so hard :o
But that might just be because I played so many Otome/Datin Sim games in my days x3
I am collecting too much and waste all my freetime into videogames.

(which isn't a lot considering that 10 hours go to work, 2 hours to driving from home to work and back, 3-4 hours of going outside with my dog and 1 hour for cooking a meal at home. Each day... And considering that I need about 6-7 hours sleep... Yeah, there is not much time left for playing Video games xD )
