Does money feel unbalanced?
I feel like going to the library or getting the boost to money during lunch when talking to side characters isn't worth the effort. Options that require money seem to come us way less often, you usually don't get money as a reward for good dialogue choices, and while the amount needed fo options scaling up like the other choices is fine, the shop means that you either never spend it in the hopes of using it for choices, or you only visit the shop once since the rest of your time is better spent boosting other stats or relationship at lunch. Outside of wanting to buy the items for the secret endings, I never felt like increasing my money.

Some characters won't accept your invitation to prom no matter what if you don't have enough money (not counting secret endings). Other than that, I usually just get enough to buy items, effectively converting 5 money into 5 of any other stat.

So that's how you get more money? Talking to people and going to the library? I just started and I'm pursuing the demon so I haven't talked to many other people ( I was thinking sitting with cat might open shop or give me money at lunch?...) and obvi I haven't been to the library for him. I love vampires but hate this hipster fad (I've always hated skinny jeans even on women I like Tripps and or flares they draw attention to what matters, your a$$, anyway) so yeah, those are the two ways to get money?

There's only 4 ways you can get money in the game.

The first is the starting quiz, some of the questions you get does give you more starting money.

The second is going to the library. Each different area gives it's own stat. Also, no matter what area you go, you'll have an event for the character you have the highest relationship with, so the person you get at the final question in the quiz will always be the first person you see.

The third way is getting it as a reward for a successful skill check but what stats you get is based on what event you get so it's always random.

And the fourth is hanging out with an NPC during lunch. During lunch, you have 3 tables that are always 2 love interests for raising your relationship between one, the cat girl for the shop, and a 5th table where you get +4 to one of two stats.

The Interdimensional Prince at lunchtime is the best option for money if you think you need extra money as his options at lunchtime always seem to have a +4 money option.

The Prince and the Coven both have two events out of three where they can give money.
Slayer, Coach and Wolfpack will never give you money.

There is also the chance of getting the lotto tickit when taking the gift from Valerie's shop, which give's you 99 MONEY, but kind of screws over the rest of your stats.

Oh i always wondered what would happen if i sat with the random ones that showed up some times. what does NPC mean?

Yeah I saw the lotto ticket online, so fat ive gotten veggies twice and poop guy (made a feed about it, if youve got it to go comment!)

I started going to the library after you mentioned it, and i won like 100000$ on kikstart then spent it all but 2$ on fee lol

and i havent seen the Prince at lunch yet, ive only seen him when i kicked his "armies" a$$ to keep my love demion lol

As far as I can tell leveling up any particular stat doesn't matter that much as long as you have a good feel for which choice is in favor of your higher stats and which stats your date wants. Money can be transformed into any other stat via the shop (which you are sometimes forced into in multiplayer) and more importantly in both single-player and multiplayer if your date is stolen/lost then a quick purchase of alternate ending items can give a last ditch chance and save you from a 'bad end'.

You're right that money seems to be rarely used for choices, I've seen it a few times for Miranda, Vera, and weirdly enough Scott. All in all I find money to be a much more valuable stat in multiplayer, where you can be locked out of your desired location.
