Thoughts on the interactive map?
I personally dislike it, it feels very slow and clunky and I really prefer the old way of travelling. If they're keeping it I'd like an option to speed up the movement at least.

Hoping other features get added to the map, seems rather basic atm yet I enjoy it. Adds another layer when running into mobs (stealth, investigate, avoid) ect.

They improved it a bit this patch as well, it's growing on me.

I kind of like it. Reminds me of the Golden Sun games. It definitely needs the option of a speed increase I agree. Imagine how the map travel speed will feel 30+ hours in...

The SFX are straight of Civ, and even the design seems lifted a bit. I like the creativity of moving across the map, but feel like at the moment it is still extraneous.

I liked SoZ. If they make the skills matter on the map like that it would be nice.

Isn't this map also similar to the one in Tyranny?

Only the town part of the map is similar to Tyranny (which was based on Dragon age Origin). PoE2's overworld map is based on Fallout 1&2.
